Malshej Ghat (माळशेज घाट) is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range in the Thane-Ahamad Nagar Road of Maharashtra, India. The site is nestled in the lofty rugged hills of the Western Ghats.
Malshej Ghat, with an average height of 700 m is situated in Thane district near the borders of Thane and Ahmednagar districts. It is at a distance of 130 km north of Pune and 154 km from Mumbai towards the northeast. The nearest railhead is Kalyan in Thane District or Karjat near Mumbai.
From Kalyan Rail Station, one can take state buses that commute frequently between Kalyan and Ahmednagar. State Bus Station is right next to the railway station.

Khecheopalri# Lake, originally known as Kha-Chot-Palri (meaning the heaven of Padmasambhava), is a lake located near Khecheopalri village, 147 kilometers west of Gangtok in the West Sikkim district of the Northeastern Indian state of Sikkim.
The lake is an integral part of the much-revered valley of "Demazong" meaning Valley of rice. This landscape Is also known as a land of hidden treasures blessed by Guru Padmasambhava.
The Khecheopalri Lake is also part of 👣the Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit involving the Yuksom, the Dubdi Monastery in Yuksom, Pemayangtse Monastery, the Rabdentse ruins, the Sanga Choeling Monastery, and the Tashiding Monastery. An interesting feature of the lake is that leaves are not allowed to float on the lake, which is ensured by the Birds which industriously pick them up as soon as they drop into the lake surface.
Torna Fort, also known as prachandagad, is a large fort located in Pune district, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is historically significant because it was the first fort captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 🤴1646, at the age of 16, forming the nucleus of the Maratha empire.
The Torna Fort is a popular destination for trekkers especially after the south-west 🏵️🌹🌻monsoon, from September to ☃️🌲December. Trekkers can stay in the Menghai Devi temple. The Raigad, Lingnan, Rajgad, Purandar fort, Sinhagad is seen from Torna.

The park stretches over an expanse of 87.50 km2 and it is about 8 km long and 2 km wide. Both parks are encompassed in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve which is further surrounded by a buffer zone (5,148.57 km). Nanda Devi National Park Reserve is in the 🌍UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

Splitting into five other cascades, the water falls a further 40 feet.

🌷🏔Harihar fort#, situated in the Trimbak range, is at an elevation of 3676 ft. It stands on top of a massive prism of triangular rock, with 🌸natural 🌼fortification on three sides. One meter wide steps are carved in the rock itself with grooves for additional support. 🌻🏵beautiful to look at from the base.
The fort was given to the Moghuls by Shahji Maharaj in 1636 along with Trimbak, Tringalwadi, and few other Poona forts. In 1818, after the fall of Trimbak, Harihar fort was surrendered to the British along with 17 other strong forts by the Moghuls. When Captain Briggs visited the fort, he was mesmerized by the beauty of the stairs. The British army, on capturing Maratha forts, used canons to destroy all access routes to their forts.
